Algimantas Rokas Černiauskas, born in 1988, is an artist whose work is known for its virtuosity of painting, poetic and musical visions, and large-format abstract, colorful, and decorative pictorial surface series. Černiauskas' art style aims to convey a feeling or notion that is impossible to set on canvas or texture. The work is a manifestation of modern-day neomodernism that explores strong optical effects, such as sunset motifs, and expresses visual scope, longing, and impossibility with immense power. |

This strategy is demonstrated in his debut exhibitions. In his recent exhibitions, such as "Lunatic's Cave" in Alytus, "Painting Behind From Merkinė" in Merkinė, and "Maiden's Blush" and "Living In The Bush" in Vilnius, Černiauskas' distinctive manipulation of painterly energetics has become inseparable from a performance or an action, as well as the representation of the painter's persona in motion pictures. His intensive creative activity contains irony, sarcasm, criticism, and avant-garde mood, and speaks to the painter's authentic active existential checkpoints. Overall, Černiauskas' art is characterized by its unique blend of different art forms and its ability to express complex emotions through vivid and abstract imagery. He obtained a Master's degree in 2012, concluding his studies at Vilnius Academy of Arts.
